At Cabania, we are fortunate to control our entire production chain. Whether it's the design of our cabin beds, or the transport to logistics. The forests where the pines we use grow are close to the factory. This overview enables us to adapt quickly to market trends or customer recommendations.
European manufacturing
The pine we use grows in Europe, right next to our factory. The mattresses that accompany our beds are made in France by a company with over 75 years' experience.
It's a FrenchFab-certified corporate citizen and a member of the Coq Vert community, a group of leaders convinced of the need to act and committed to the ecological transition. So, even when we make products for sleeping and resting, we can also take action.
Labels
Our factory and wood comply with European legislation known as the EUSR. The EU Sustainable Forest Management Regulation sets strict standards to prevent deforestation and forest degradation associated with certain commodities placed on the EU market or exported from the EU.
This regulation insists on the need for "due diligence", obliging companies to prove that their products do not contribute to deforestation after a set deadline and comply with the legislation of the country of origin. In addition, the RDUE encourages sustainable practices by promoting the certification and traceability of forest products, and fights against illegal deforestation. Our mattresses comply with the AFNOR NF 1334 standard, guaranteeing quality finish and a level 1 CSR commitment.

Our factory has been working with solid pine for over 25 years. Cabania has chosen to use this tree species in the design of all its furniture. Pine grows abundantly in many parts of the world, and its rapid growth and easy management make it a sustainable and environmentally-friendly choice.
