You may be wondering...

A cabin bed is a place to sleep. It looks like a little house or hut. It creates a fun, safe space for the child. It encourages imagination and independence, and creates an environment conducive to sleep and play.

Our team has put together a comprehensive guide. It will help you choose your cabin bed with ease. You'll be able to embellish your child's bedroom: cabin bed guide

Our cabin beds are suitable for young children from the age of 3, when they begin to develop their independence. However, as each child is unique, it's essential to consider his or her individual maturity and development.

Safety is our top priority. Our cabin beds are designed with sturdy materials and a wooden structure suitable for use by a child. Our beds can be fitted with safety rails to prevent falls.

We use solid wood from sustainably managed forests. Our solid pine is renowned for its durability and warm appearance. This natural material is treated without harmful products, guaranteeing a healthy environment for your child.

Our 12cm thick mattress provides adequate support while adapting to the height of the safety gates.

Our mattress fits our 190x90cm beds perfectly.

Our cabin beds blend harmoniously into a variety of settings. You can personalize them with garlands of lights, curtains or cushions. This creates a unique space that reflects your child's personality.

Inspired by the Montessori method, our hut beds encourage autonomy, self-confidence and stimulate the imagination. They offer children a personal space where they can explore, play and rest in complete freedom.

Regular maintenance ensures the bed's longevity. We recommend dusting the wood with a soft cloth and avoiding aggressive chemicals. In the event of stains, light dampening is all that's required.

Absolutely. Some compact models or those with integrated storage solutions are specially designed to optimize space, offering a playful sleeping area without cluttering up the room.

Yes, various accessories can enrich your child's experience: bedspreads, garlands, built-in drawers and storage ... These elements add a personal touch and make the space even more welcoming.

Involving your child in the choice and design of the bed makes the transition easier. Explain the advantages of this new space and create a bedtime ritual to reassure him and encourage him to adopt his new bed.

Our cribs can be customized to meet specific needs. It is essential to consult a healthcare professional to ensure that the bed is suitable for your child's specific needs.

Make sure there are enough openings to allow adequate air circulation, ensuring a healthy, comfortable environment.

Of course! Our cabin beds come with detailed instructions and instructional videos for easy assembly. However, if you're not comfortable with assembly, you can ask for our assembly service.

Our beds are in stock and shipped within 48 hours!

Choosing the size of your cabin bed depends mainly on your child's age and the space available in his or her room. Here's our complete guide:

Cabane bed 90x190 cm - The ideal size (recommended)
This is the standard size we recommend at Cabania. The 90x190 cabin bed offers the best compromise between comfort and longevity. Perfect from the age of 2, it will accompany your child through adolescence (12-14 years), making it an excellent long-term investment. All our models (Paris, Chamonix, Dakota, Oléron, Sherwood) are available in this size.

Cabane bed 90x200 cm - For bigger kids
If you want to maximize the life of the bed, or if your child is already big for his age, opt for a 90x200 cm bed. That extra 10 cm makes all the difference for teenagers, and may even be suitable for a young adult. Ideal if you're looking for a "definitive" bed.

Hut bed 70x140 cm - For toddlers
This more compact size is suitable for children from 18 months to around 5 years. It's perfect for a first transition from a crib to a floor-mounted Montessori bed. However, you'll need to change beds more quickly than with a 90x190 size.

Our recommendations by age :

  • 18 months - 5 years: 70x140 cm bed (transition) or directly 90x190 cm for greater longevity
  • 2 - 12 years: 90x190 cm cabin bed (our best-seller, the best value for money and durability)
  • 6 - 14 years and over: 90x200 cm bed for maximum long-term comfort

Why choose a 90x190 mattress at Cabania?
This is the format we prefer because it allows us to use standard mattresses that are easy to find and affordable. Our 90x190 mattress, made in France, fits perfectly and guarantees excellent support for your child's growth. What's more, this size optimizes space in the bedroom while offering real sleeping comfort.

An evolving bed that grows with your child
Whatever you choose, our solid wood cabin beds are built to last. You can add or remove protective rails to suit your child's age, customize your bed with accessories, and even transform certain models (like the Calvi with its trundle function). An investment that lasts!
