You may be wondering...

The cabane bed in natural finish highlights the authentic beauty of solid pine, with its ribbing and variations in color that make each piece of furniture unique.
This finish brings warmth and character to the bedroom, creating a cosy, warm atmosphere.

Exposed wood blends perfectly with Nordic, country or ecological style decorations. What's more, the natural finish better masks the small marks of use that your child might make on a daily basis.

Our natural cabin beds are made exclusively from solid European pine from sustainably managed forests. We have selected this species for its many qualities: sturdiness, relative lightness for easy assembly, a warm appearance with its characteristic ribs, and excellent durability.

Pine is also renowned for its natural antibacterial properties and ability to regulate humidity, contributing to a healthy environment in your child's bedroom.

Our cabin beds in natural finish are treated with a high-quality ecological varnish that protects the wood while preserving its natural look and texture. This treatment complies with the strictest European standards for children's furniture - it contains no harmful VOCs or toxic substances.

The finish is stain- and moisture-resistant, yet allows the wood to "breathe", guaranteeing durability and aesthetic appeal over the years.

Like all woods, pine can darken slightly over time, especially if exposed to direct sunlight. This natural evolution gives the furniture a warm patina that adds character. To limit this phenomenon, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

The finish we apply considerably slows down this natural wood maturing process, allowing your cabin bed to retain its original appearance for many years to come.

Maintaining a cabin bed in natural finish is very simple: regular dusting with a soft cloth is usually all that's needed. For stains, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.

Avoid aggressive cleaning products that could damage the protective finish. To revive the wood's lustre after a few years, specific "nourish wood" products available on the market can be applied, but this is not essential thanks to the quality of our initial varnish.

Natural wood blends harmoniously with a wide variety of colors and materials. For a warm, natural look, combine it with textiles in earthy tones (beige, taupe, terracotta) or soft hues like our water green.

For a sharper contrast, our midnight blue or fuchsia work perfectly. Natural fiber accessories like our rope bed braids perfectly complement the authentic look of wood. White or cream linens also create a beautiful visual balance.

Thanks to the protective varnish applied as a finish, our natural wood cabin beds stand up well to minor everyday stains and occasional dampness. We do, however, recommend promptly wiping up any spilled liquid to prevent it from penetrating the wood.

Pine is naturally resistant to moisture, but as with all wooden furniture, prolonged exposure to water can damage the material. In the normal environment of a child's bedroom, your natural cabin bed will retain its appearance and strength perfectly.

All our cabin beds, including those in natural finish, are designed for simple, intuitive assembly. Each bed comes with clear assembly instructions and all necessary parts and fasteners. The assembly system has been designed to be accessible even without special DIY skills.

Allow around 1h to 1h30 to assemble a single bed, and 2h to 2h30 for a bunk bed. For ease of installation, we recommend two people, especially for handling the larger parts.

Yes, it's quite possible. If, after a few years, you'd like to update your bedroom decor, our cabin beds in natural finish can be repainted. The surface first needs to be lightly sanded for better adhesion of the new paint, then an undercoat adapted to the varnished wood is applied before the final color.

This flexibility is a further advantage of our cabin beds, which can evolve according to your desires and your child's changing tastes.

No, the knots you see in pine wood are not defects, but natural features that testify to the material's authenticity. Each knot corresponds to the base of a branch in the original tree, making each bed unique.

We carefully select our wood to ensure that these knots are aesthetically pleasing and well integrated into the overall design. They contribute to the warm, rustic charm of the furniture, while being perfectly stable and secure thanks to our rigorous manufacturing process.
