You may be wondering...

Cabania bunk beds offer several significant advantages. Firstly, they enable remarkable optimization of floor space, freeing up room for games, desks or other essential furniture. This makes them the ideal solution for smaller shared rooms.

Beyond the practical aspect, our bunk models (Chamonix and Sherwood) create a veritable vertical play universe that fascinates children. Each occupant benefits from his or her own personal space, while sharing a common play experience. Economically, a bunk bed is often a better investment than two single beds of equivalent quality.

For safety reasons, we recommend that only children aged 6 and over use the upper bunk bed. At this age, they generally have the motor coordination and hazard awareness needed to climb up and down the ladder safely.

The bottom bunk is ideal for younger children, aged 3 and over. This recommendation is in line with European safety standards for bunk beds, and ensures that the whole family can use the furniture with peace of mind.

Safety is our top priority when it comes to bunk beds. Our models feature safety rails on all sides of the upper bunk, with guardrail heights far exceeding the minimum requirements of European standard EN 747.

The ladder is firmly attached to the structure, with non-slip steps to prevent slipping. The entire structure is reinforced for optimum stability, with a load capacity of over 80 kg per berth. All corners are rounded to prevent injury in the event of impact. Our joints are designed to resist movement and vibration without loosening over time.

Our cabin bunk beds have a total height of around 180 cm, making them compatible with most standard bedrooms. We recommend a minimum ceiling height of 220 cm to ensure sufficient space above the top bunk (approx. 40 cm).

This margin allows the child to sit comfortably on the top bunk without the risk of hitting the ceiling. Before you buy, we advise you to measure your space precisely, taking into account not only the height, but also the location of windows, radiators, switches or sockets that could interfere with the positioning of the bed.

This feature depends on the specific model. Our Chamonix bunk bed can actually be split into two single beds if your needs change (for example, if the children move into separate bedrooms).

The modular design allows this change of configuration without compromising structural strength. The Sherwood model, on the other hand, has a more integrated architecture that doesn't allow for this separation. If this flexibility is important to you, let us know when you place your order so that we can direct you to the model best suited to your future needs.

For safe, comfortable use, we recommend a clear space of at least 60 cm on the side where the ladder is located, allowing easy ascent and descent. A space of at least 30-40 cm on the other sides facilitates circulation and access for making beds.

If you opt for a model with a drawer under the lower berth, allow an additional space of around 80 cm in front of the bed for the drawer to open fully. As for height, as mentioned above, a minimum of 40 cm between the upper mattress and the ceiling is recommended for the child's comfort.

Mattresses are not included by default in our cabin bunk beds, but are available as an option when you place your order. This approach allows you to choose the quality and thickness of mattresses to suit your preferences, or to re-use mattresses you already own (as long as they match the standard 90x190 cm dimensions).

We offer mattresses specially designed for children, made in France, with density and support adapted to their morphology. For the upper bed, we recommend a mattress with a maximum thickness of 12 cm to ensure that the height of the safety rails remains sufficient.

Our bunk beds are designed for easy assembly, even without special DIY skills. Each bed comes with detailed instructions and all the necessary fasteners. However, due to the size and weight of the components, we strongly recommend that assembly be carried out by two adults.

Allow around 2h to 2h30 for complete assembly. The steps are logical and sequential: first the lower structure is assembled, then the connecting uprights, and finally the upper structure. Our customers regularly testify to the clarity of the instructions and the satisfaction of seeing the bed gradually take shape.

Absolutely, that's one of the great advantages of our bunk beds! Each bunk bed can be decorated independently to suit the tastes of its occupant. Our bed linens, available in a range of colors, can be used to decorate each level separately. Likewise, bed braids, decorative cushions and garlands allow complete personalization.

Some parents even install small shelves next to each bed, so that each child can have his or her books and personal items within easy reach. This ability to create two distinct universes in a single piece of furniture contributes greatly to the harmony of shared bedrooms.

Our cabin bunk beds are designed to last over time, accompanying your children throughout their growth. Made from high-quality solid pine and assembled using robust techniques, they can easily be used for 10 years or more with minimal maintenance.

That's why we offer a 5-year warranty on all our products. The meticulous finish and timeless design also ensure that the furniture retains its aesthetic appeal over the years. Many parents report that they have passed on their Cabania bed to other children in the family after use, testifying to its exceptional durability.

No, our single and bunk beds have different structures. If you're thinking of upgrading in the future, we recommend choosing a separable bunk model that can function as two independent beds.

We recommend general lighting in the bedroom, plus individual lighting: integrated nightlight or reading lamp for the upper bed, and mood lighting for the lower space, which can be used as a reading corner.

The top bunk naturally benefits from better air circulation. Make sure the room is well ventilated, especially in summer, as heat naturally rises to the upper level.

Our ladders are positioned for easy access, and we recommend using comforter covers rather than fitted sheets to simplify changing bedding on the upper level.

Absolutely! The cabane structure makes it easy to add curtains or net curtains to create more privacy or reduce light levels, particularly useful for the top bunk.

Yes, as long as the thickness does not exceed 15 cm. However, we recommend firm, airy mattresses to guarantee a good night's sleep, especially for the top bunk.

The tiered design allows a degree of independence. You can install individual lighting and use the structure to limit light and noise pollution between the two levels.

Recommended! Provide at least one socket near each level for nightlights, electronic devices or auxiliary lighting. Make sure they are out of direct reach for safety.

Why choose a bunk bed for your children's bedroom?

The bunk bed is a revolutionary furnishing solution that radically transforms the organization and atmosphere of a child's bedroom. Much more than a simple piece of sleeping furniture, it embodies the perfect combination of practicality, space optimization and stimulation of the child's imagination.

Incomparable space optimization

In a context of shrinking living space, the cabane bunk bed is the ideal answer to the challenges of children's bedroom design. By superimposing two berths on the footprint of a single bed, this solution frees up to 50% of the available space. This extra space can then be dedicated to a reading corner, a play area or even an office, creating a perfectly organized multifunctional bedroom.

Optimization goes beyond simple layering. The space created beneath the structure can accommodate clever storage, shelving or even a sitting area, transforming every square meter into a useful zone. This approach allows families to maximize the potential of smaller rooms without sacrificing comfort or functionality.

Promoting conviviality and fraternal ties

The bunk bed naturally creates a special space for siblings to share. This physical proximity strengthens emotional bonds and encourages positive interactions. Children develop a sense of sharing and cooperation, and learn to respect each other's space while enjoying their own privacy.

The bunk bed is the ideal setting for sleepovers and bonding moments. The layered configuration creates a playful dynamic where each level becomes a territory to explore, encouraging imaginative play and shared stories. This social dimension of furniture makes a significant contribution to children's emotional and social development.

A design that stimulates the imagination

The unique architecture of the cabane bunk bed immediately evokes the world of adventure and exploration. Inspired by perched huts and forest refuges, this furniture transforms the bedroom into a playground where every evening becomes a new expedition. Children develop their creativity by inventing scenarios, stories and role-playing around their "cabin".

This imaginative stimulation contributes positively to cognitive development. By creating an environment conducive to symbolic play, the bunk bed encourages creative expression, problem-solving and narrative construction. Children develop their capacity for abstraction and emotional intelligence in a secure, familiar environment.

Everyday practicality and functionality

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the cabane bunk bed meets a number of practical needs. The ability to accommodate two children in a small space considerably simplifies family organization. Parents and children benefit from a better-structured bedroom where every element has its place and function.

Maintenance and servicing are also easy. The raised structure allows easy floor cleaning and improved air circulation. Bedding textiles benefit from optimal ventilation, contributing to a healthier sleeping environment. This practicality translates into significant time savings in daily household chores.

Guaranteed safety and durability

Modern cabin bunk beds incorporate technical innovations that guarantee maximum safety. Side rails, anti-slip ladders and reinforced structures meet the strictest European standards. This attention to safety means that parents can have confidence in this type of furniture, while offering children progressive autonomy.

Durability is another major advantage. Made from solid European wood, these beds will stand the test of time and support children's growth for many years to come. Some models even offer the possibility of evolution, transforming into independent single beds as family needs change.

Adaptability and customization

Every family has its own specific needs, so the bunk bed is available in a wide range of configurations. Built-in storage options, a choice of finishes, decorative accessories: this modularity enables extensive personalization, perfectly adapting to the desired aesthetic and space constraints.

This flexibility extends to changing needs. A bunk bed can accompany children from infancy to adolescence, adapting to their changing tastes and physical development. This longevity makes it a particularly wise investment for sustainability-conscious families.

A smart family investment

Choosing a bunk bed means opting for a complete solution that goes beyond the simple purchase of furniture. It means creating an environment conducive to children's harmonious development, intelligently optimizing family space and investing in durable furniture that retains its value over time.

This holistic approach to design transforms the nursery into a veritable ecosystem, where sleep, play, learning and conviviality all find their natural place. The bunk bed becomes the central pillar of a perfectly organized and infinitely more functional bedroom.
